SCRAPBOOK OBITUARIES - DONNA SAMS
GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY

Donna Sams, has a scrapbook of her grandfather's she has had for 30 some years. She kept the book.. we all know why! Never really knowing who connected where. Donna bought the Evergreen Cemetery book (Kingsley, MI), published by Grand Traverse Area Genealogical Society, then got out her grandfather's scrapbook and started comparing names and put this list together hoping it may help someone else.  Donna is direct descendant of Monroe Dan Baldwin and Violetta Hopkins.

The obits are not listed by a lot number nor are they dated. Donna's numbering system at end of obit. Thanks, Donna, for taking the time to send and share her materials.

One obit gave Bill Hull of New York the name of his ancestor's first wife. The other query came from Randy Knapp of Honor, MI. This connection gave her "new" family.
