PLANKEY / LAJOICE
PEDIGREE CHART THAT CAME FROM "GOODNESS KNOWS WHERE"
The first generation is here but where the paper has been photocopied I am unable to tell if she is deceased or not. Her name is Betty L. Plankey daughter of George and Hazel. There is a bit more on her but will not be placing it on this page without proof of her demise, due to privacy reasons.
George Winfield Plankey b. 17 Feb 1919 in Moran, MI, d. 23 Oct 1988, Portland, MI. In 1940 he married, Hazel Mary Lewis b. 23 Dec 1924 in Hahma, MI; and died 16 Aug. 1981 at Bridgeport, WA.
Rufus P. Plankey b. 16 Sept 1875 in Canada; d. 27 Aug 1946 Moran MI, he immigrated in 1890. Rufus married Agnes LaJoice 10 Apr 1909, St. Ignace. Agnes LaJoice b. 9 Mar 1890 at St. Ignace and died 9 May 1932, St. Ignace.
Frank Plankey has nothing in his section nor does it have his parents but he did marry, Mary Louise LeClere or AKA Mary L. Lecuyer b abt 1848 (age 2 on 1850 census gives this info)
Following Agnes LaJoice line it turns to: Father, Noel LaJoice b. unk d. 24 Jul 1895 married Mary Philemen Lamyotte whom nothing is known here. She had brother Geo 1868 married Elizabeth Paquin
Noel's parents appear to be: Louis LaJoice of Canada b. 1808 married Mary LaVake, 18 Mar 1837, Mackinac City. Louis d. 25 June 1910. Mary b. 1824 MI; With Chippewa Tribe d. 25 June 1905, St. Ignace. Siblings: Augustus, Franzine, Josephine, Rosalie, Joseph H., Oliver, Madeline, Louis, Isaac.
Mary Philemen Lamyotte's parents are:
George Lamyotte b. 1836 and Angeline Robinson b. 1841 ? No Durrant Roll just #1870 59-14. There is a line that is drawn to Angeline's father whom is Francis Robinson b. 1797 Canada. Francis wife is Josette Unknown and Francis and Josette married 11 Sept 1826.
Josette's father appears to be Chief at Troqunse? from 1836 Indian Census 2nd note by Josette: Possible mother: Misatagon Ense (ains)
This puts us at the end of the parents lines for George Plankey.

Lewis-Louis, Tribe, Mackinac Band with DR#3453 1870#6-12. George Lambert's father, James Lambert (Jacob) b. 1820, Occupation, boat builder. his mother, Margaret Bashchigijigokwe, b. 1828 nothing on Durrant Roll information.
Margaret's parents Petrus Paw zhe daw naw quot b. 1800. No Durrant Roll number just 1870# 4-34. Her mother is Catherine Pinesikwe b. 1830, no other information listed.
