Laid Up-- The Propeller 'Sunny Side' is laid up for the winter, at her slip in Traverse City.

The weather has been remarkably fine up to the 22nd. There are no strong indications of a snow storm. We have no snow now.

New Store- Bacon & Ashton have received a stock of Groceries, Drugs and Medicines, &c., &c., which they will open in a few days at their new Store on Front street, near the Traverse City Exchange.

Stacks of New Goods-- Hannah, Lay & Co., have received their full stock in Winter Goods. Their large store is crammed in every Department with everything that everybody wants. We are confident that they have fixed their prices at the very lowest living rates. Goods are unusually high in all the Eastern markets, but they are unusually low here. See their advertisement on fourth page.

Republican Caucus-- A Caucus of the Republicans of the Township of Traverse was held at the School House, in Traverse City, on Saturday last, to appoint five Delegates to the County Convention on the 21st, to appoint three Delegates to the Thirteenth Judicial Convention to be held at Traverse City on the 23rd inst.
