Honoring Our Pioneers! Grand Traverse County, Michigan
Of course all the pioneers are not here and many did nothing more spectacular then be an asset to the community by their farming, blacksmiths, laborers of all kinds. A community cannot be made up of just doctors, lawyers, judges, etc. As my retired doctor, Dr. Gerald Klinglesmith once said: We need laymen and skilled men in the backbreaking trades not just professionals. Any area is not complete without them as there would be less need for doctors, lawyers and businessmen to keep them in business. Not to mention the food, dairy, equine care that we would not have.
This is our opinion only.
If you have photos of your families please let me know and then can be added with honor -- write Brenda
