GTAGS is pleased to announce the availability of the first edition of the “Grand Traverse County Rural Cemeteries” CD-ROM.

Almost four years in the making with 20,514+ names and covering 26 county cemeteries, this is not just headstone readings but research collected from townships, churches, individuals, sextons, historical societies and online research sites. We’ve tried to include maiden name, DOB, DOD, age at death, place of birth, parents, marriage information, military service, cause of death and the cemetery name and sometimes much more.

The CD is available in PDF (portable document format) which can be accessed on Adobe Acrobat Reader (a free program).

The price for the CD is $35.00 plus $3.00 for S/H of each CD. This is a vast amount of information at a reasonable price. After expenses, all proceeds are used to promote genealogy through various sources in the Grand Traverse area.
